Why do people play soccer?
I love soccer. If I have to explain why I love this game, I want to recall the days when I used to play soccer quite often during my childhood. It was the 2002 World Cup season after the year of AD. The game is organized by two Asian countries, Japan and Korea. There is a great excitement of my game all over the place. I can tell you why people love soccer so much, but I’m sure hell can, and will, tell you why I love football. Imagine it was a warm sunny day. School goes out, and you have nothing else to do. You have a ball, a few friends and a grass field with no purpose.
I started playing soccer when I was 7 years old. I was introduced to sports in school. It is one thing to have older students guide and accompany you when you first start at an elementary school. We call them, Budd Buddies. My best friend took me to football. And I still play it after 10 years. Why do I still play it? I do not know. I have a dream of becoming a world famous football player, like Ronaldo or Zidane, but I'm never good. I always play bad sports, but, I still insist on playing whenever and wherever I can. All because it's fun. So I guess that why people also play it. Look around your local football fields, and see how passionate and fun the players are. They are clearly enjoying themselves. Of course, some people play it for money, especially when you can earn 350 thousand euros per week. But, that if you are very good.
Why football (soccer) is the biggest sport in the world? Because the original expression can be interpreted in many different ways. I guess the answer will be extremely easy to learn rules. Not used in most casual games and quite easy to maintain even in a group of children.
